Cancelling just broadband and not phone

I have broadband and phone with Eircom and I'm going to cancel the broadband. Do I need to put it in writing and give 30 days notice etc. or is that just for when someone is cancelling everything?

Hi,

The 30 days written notice is also required if you are only cancelling the broadband service.

if you call 1901 they will put you through to cancellations to start the process.
