Target Rifle Stock To Benchrest Stock

Hi Everyone,

I have a selected Anschutz 2013 in a 2313 stock just sitting in the safe, I'm thinking setting it up for benchrest, is there a cheap way of modifying my 2313 stock to allow me use it for benchrest?

All I know is that there must be 3 inches of flat bottom at the end of the stock for benchrest? Are there any more regs?
Any suggestions?

You could use a flat fore-end block like the MEC support or the MEC katamaran; they'd give you the three inches of flat foreend....

I suspect it's "not more than 3 inches", not that you must have 3".

I would say thats a bit more accurate. I have shot benchrest, and seen all manners of rifles. The forend of each rifle was different and alot had the old match 54 rifles with the semi rounded stock which is not 3" nor is it flat.

I don't know if the 2313 stock is aluminium or wooden but you need to bear in mind that the maximum weight is 15 lbs.

There is an Anschutz plate that fix's into the accessory rail giving you the flat bottom the BR rifles have. Stick a scope on her and yer away!
