Camping near Arcachon/Biarritz area

    Myself, the OH and two of her friends are heading off on a little road trip next week in France. We're all in our late 20s and are looking for a couple of decent campsites in and around Arcachon/St. Jean de Luz/Biarritz - ideally next to the beach and town for a bit of nightlife... if it was in a surfing area all the better.

    Anyway, anyone have any suggestions?

    Hope I haven't left it too late to book anything!

    Hossegor is good, ticks all the boxes for you. Plenty of hostels, surf lodges there. And several aire du camping also. Although Camping du Lac is closed this year
