Wondering if the following property example needs to register with the PRTB.

3 bed house owned by three people together, two move out and rent their rooms seperately. Third co owner still living in the house.

Does this need registration or does the fact one owner is still living there count as landlord occupied even though the other two have both rented to tenants therefore becoming their landlords?

D3PO is correct - no registration required.

There are two reasons that registration is not required:
    1. An owner is resident.
    2. Because the other owners are renting their rooms only (and therefore the tenants would be sharing facilities) and not the whole dwelling, registration is not required.
