Nothing was moving too fast (moving at a crawl with very few Southside buses stopping) in D1 going southside, also no 77, 77A. I asked the bus driver on the 151 and he said there was a "serious crash" on the quays. Nothing on the RTE news....any info ?

According to Livedrive, there was a bad crash on the N4 outbound at the south circular road junction around 530pm. The south quays were back to O'Connell St within minutes and by 630pm was taking an hour to clear. It was finally cleared after 7pm.

A collision outbound on St. John's Rd West has been cleared; long delays remain on approach from South Quays. *MAIN TRAFFIC* * St John’s Rd West has reopened outbound between the Quays and SCR following a crash at the Con Colbert Rd/SCR jct. However delays on the South Quays are now back to Georges Quay. There is still no access from the SCR onto Con Colbert Rd and there are delays from the Emmet Rd jct. The Council is en route to treat the road following the collision. Avoid the area if possible.
