    Im looking to return to wow after a long absence and im wondering if someone would like to send me a Scroll of Resurrection before i resub,so ill get a few extra days,and a free month for the sender.

    Hey,

    Check your account management, there's a free 7 day pass on at the moment for inactive accounts. You should be able to claim it from your game management page.

    Sweet, thanks for posting this. Hadn't realised it, and was thinking of coming back, but didnt fancy paying the free. 7 days free sounds perfect.

    Yah just got that e-mail regarding 7 days.

    If anyone has a scroll I'd love to get back into it. Been out of the game a since Xmas but the urges are getting stronger :D

    Hey,

    I havent played since the week before Cata came out. Strange to give up that week of all weeks I knwo but my accoutn got hacked TWICE!! Blizz were terrible to deal with trying to resolve the issue for me so I got peeved off until one day I got it sorted out about 8months ago and still never got back playing it.

    Anyway, got 2 questions.
    1. Is hacking still rife in the universe?
    2. Are there many changes from cata original release to what its like now?

    Why a dongle? Wouldnt that be slower? i ahve decent broadband as it is and a new comptuer since last played.

    When he says dongle, he doesnt mean a broadband dongle. He mean's an Authenticator (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&tag=TOKENFAQ&rhtml=true)

    or, if you have an android phone, and probably an iphone, there's an app you can get that means you have to generate a unique key via the app to allow you to log in to your account, it's a free alternative!

    Ugh I just have to clear this up.

    They do not hack you, it's a very different thing.

    Your account information is stolen via one of two common methods.
    1) A keylogger on your PC. Usually downloaded (without your knowledge) from a variety of sites, most commonly Porn/Gold-Selling sites and some others.
    2) Some of the more popular Guild websites are also owned by Gold-selling companies, and if you use the same information (Login name/Password) on those sites as you do for your WoW account login, there is a -chance- they will get your account that way.

    yes they got your information, but not through unauthorized access to your pc's files or network, ergo not hacking.
