Should've got his mate Bertie to appoint him a senator, free parking in Leinster House for life.

The Dublin Airport cap is damaging the economy of Ireland as a whole, and must be scrapped forthwith.

I'm not one hundred percent sure what I just read, I'm not sure if Breda gets that amazing things are constantly being achieved via the Internet.... But yeah Pokemon!

Right, she's really crossed the line now! Probably doesn't like the "evolution" thing...

Are these people capable of writing positive articles about anything?

Lord Helix is not amused by Breda's bout of literary vomiting.

    Telling parts of that article:

"My 12-year-old suggested at dinner that instead of talking about Jesus, today I should talk about Bird Jesus."

    and

    that's all.

Did that article really have a point...?

Apparently the minority of trolls in Twitch Plays Pokemon are supporters of marriage equality (in her deluded mind).

Lord Helix is not pleased with this abuse of His Apostles.

Am I the only one who sees the "Church of Lord Helix" becoming a parody religion? :pac:

So her article is kicking off a game of finding her point - a bit like "Where's Wally?"

Presumably, once he returns from leave he'll have an article about the RTE compo and invoke the Father Ted excuse by saying they money was just resting in his account.

I thought her article was brilliant, using feigned (possibly) ignorance, she pretends that her kids talk about Jesus every dinner time (ala blue bloods) but then uses the Pokemon story to highlight the fact that kids are not interested in religion and that they are developed enough to realise that there is no difference between a large in - joke and organised religion in the modern world.

    Pure genius.

I'd concur, except this is Breda O'Brien we're talking about.

Maybe she is so 1 dimensional that she just became a parody of herself, exposing what she is like in an even more obvious way? If such a thing is possible.

In other words, she's the Ionanists' dream woman. :pac:

Last Tuesday was scheduled to be the date for a talk given by John Waters at the Davenport Hotel http://www.broadsheet.ie/2014/02/08/doing-anything-on-march-4th/, but apparently it was cancelled. https://twitter.com/MsRLux/status/440918900159418368

Breda had a load of crap article yesterday about how internet porn will kill us all. Not posting a link, don't want to encourage them :(

As public opinion has so spectacularly turned against JW and Iona since they fleeced RTE, perhaps it was deemed not to be the best time for John to deliver his lecture titled "Manipulating Public Opinion" :)

All of that stuff IS taught in America, but then their families maek a ruckus about it and tell them that it’s not true, and to just do the work in order to pass. In fact, all textbooks that mention evolution at all in my state are required to have a disclaimer. http://www.driko.org/blogicons/evolution_disclaimer.jpg

Approaching science with an open mind can only be a good thing but the implication is that religion should not be similarly approached. No 'caution - parental advisory' stickers on religious books in that state.

I wonder if they approach the theory of gravity with an open mind?
