I wonder if they avail of modern medicine or leave it to God. If heaven is the goal I'm sure they won't prolong life.

COLUMNIST JOHN WATERS is no longer writing for the Irish Times.

A spokesperson at the editor’s office said Waters had “decided to stop contributing columns”.

I feel a little better about the settlement knowing his behaviour has now probably cost him money in the long run.

I'm trying to think of something witty involving John deserting, and deserts not having any water, but I'm not very good at this.

The literary giant that is John Waters has moved to the last liberal media refuge, the Guardian.

A spokesperson for the newspaper confirmed Waters is expected to work in the same building as feminists.

'John's experience, rigorous approach to writing and unique insights make him an ideal columnist', she said.

Waters was previously arrested for claiming gays don't know how to park and that they want to satirize driving straight.

Sources confirmed that under his new contract Waters will sign on weekly at his local Garda station using a thesaurus.
