Been looking at this company "Barcodes Ltd." www.barcodes1.ie from NZ read in the paper about one guy who used them with chocolates or something. Has anyone had any experience with them or know anyone who has tried them. Its over 500e to join gs1 and I only need 2 barcodes. They sell them for 30euro each. Also they do art have a pdf of a guarantee cert they can send you for an extra 5. Thanks for your input.

I've about 60 or so bardcodes left over from a project we did where we bought unique codes from http://www.barcodestalk.com/

I'm happy to let these off to you for a small fee if you want. They come with various image formats that you would expect.

Couldnt you just download a barcode font and print them yourself? Or do they have to be issued from some central agency or something?

If you are looking for unique barcodes - as in those attached to products that would be scanned in public retail chains or anything in the open competitive market - then you need to buy codes from a barcode reseller.

I bought mine from here: http://www.barcodestalk.com/bar-code-numbers?rm=true

If on the other hand you are looking for codes internal company use and are not worried about codes that will clash with other products at someone elses till then you can generate your own.

    BHeadie I'll PM you there.
