Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I have a 7 yr old xp pc in work that I want to upgrade. There is a bespoke piece of software on it that uses sql server. I don't have installation disks for either app so is adding the hd as a second drive in the new pc my only option ?

The initial installation was done by a firm that have gone and the new pc can xp if it can't be windows 7.

    Thanks

If you have windows 7 Professional upwards you can use a free windows XP virtual machine. Compatibility mode may also work.

You could try copying all the files and folders relating to the program onto a DVD and then onto your computer... it might not be too reliant on registry entries...
