Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Health and Safety Evening - Kildalton, 13th July

    South Tipp Macra will be hosting a Health and Safety evening in Kildalton Agricultural College on July 13th at 7pm.

    This event will address significant issues affecting the farming community. A number of different aspects of Health and Safety will be discussed, including the use of certain farm vehicles and the impact of Health and Safety awareness on Irish farms.

    Five different speakers will give talks on the night on different aspects of Farm Health and Safety. Following the talks there will be a tour of the college and the handling facilities for cattle.

    11 people died on Irish farms in 2009, however that rose to 25 in 2010, so it has never been more important to be aware of correct Health and Safety procedures.

    A great night is promised, and we look forward to seeing you all there!
