Logs/trees

I was just thinking, instead of buying sticks for the fire it might be cheaper to buy a couple of full lenght logs/trees and cut them myself, and aswell I have brand new chain saw that Im dying to get trying out... so anyone any ideas where I might find these logs in the Louth area...... preferably Dundalk.
