Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering what are the thoughts on this bike? As i mentioned in another thread im just thinking of getting into cycling for improving fitness and for leisure. I wont be taking it too serious. Do ye think this would be ok for someone like me?

It looks a bit crap to be honest.

I'd steer clear of that to be honest. Look at the halfords tdf if ou want a cheap road bike. Or better yet, go second hand.

I mentioned elsewhere about the halfords option but kinda got mixed answers. Don't really want to spend more than €400 as I'm just doing this for something in my spare time to keep active and fit.

Where would be a good place to source 2nd hand options?

adverts.ie, gumtree, donedeal, buyandsell and some shops sell second hand stuff also.

I bought a road bike second hand from The Cycle Inn in Tallaght a few weeks ago. Would have cost over €1000 new and I took it home for €400.
I'd ask them if they have anything. A lot of the time their second hand stuff won't be on the floor.

Other than that, the places mentioned above.
