Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Here's a weird one for you (media files/folders marked as hidden)

Last night I performed a system restore, turning the clock back only 10 hours or so. When it rebooted I quickly spotted that every nearly media file you can think of and the folders they are in was missing. At first I thought Windows had ate many gigabytes of jpeg, mp3, avi, wmv and so on then I thought to check if they were hiding, I tweaked folder/file options to show all hidden files/folders and they reappeared but with the pale icon look which indicates they are still "hidden types" so each folder/file has to be right clicked and the hidden option in the dialogue box unchecked.

Any ideas why this happened and is there a "one click" solution to fully un-hiding all those files/folders so they don't look pale?

Why did you need to perform a System Restore?

I got invaded by a Trojan and it gummed up the system sufficently so that when I tried to download malwarebytes anti trojan programme I got rebooted before it could be used (more than once). I decided to go nuclear.
