    I'm emigrating to Oz in the new year but wanna stop off somewhere in South America for two or three weeks before i arrive down under.

    Anyone know any good websites where i can purchase a plane ticket that will allow for this.

    Go source what type of ticket via an travel agent, then search the internet for that ticket for a cheaper ticket (skyscanner.net is a good one)

    Eva Air allow you to book open return tickets on their website but as they are Taiwan based they don't fly to South America, you can fly them to Brisbane though via Heathrow and Taipei which involves a stop off in Bangkok.
