was in a similar situation as you there when i started, 25, mature student etc. i went to ballyraine halls.

-management were decent, nicely run place and its very clean.
-if you go there, make you sure get the double room with ensuite as it gives you plenty of space. the smaller rooms are too small.
-its noisy on big nights out, but not too bad where you cant sleep.
-security is decent there and if you have a problem, they sort it.
-plenty of parking available with 24/7 cctv.
-less than 5 mins walk to the college
-great place for sessions nd meeting new people

there was a lot of people my age, and a lot younger. so yeah between 18 - 30. you mix with both so its all good.
i found it very nice to live there, and being from tipperary, i stayed all weekends too. it gets VERY quite weekends, like a ghost town at times. but the people i met there were brill and real friendly.

nightlife i was referring to in ballyraine apartments at the weekend goes quite unless you get to know people and then its great.

the nightlife in town is excellent during the week. weekend, prices are higher so we didnt head there too often
