Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I use Firefox the latest version, on the top right hand of my screen there is a list of search engines available i have it set to Google, anyway since ive updated firefox last month ago ive noticed that when i type something into google it brings up http://www.google.com instead of http://www.google.ie or http://www.google.co.uk it used to be a case before anytime id search for something say i was in the UK it would bring up a list of UK websites, same as if i was in Ireland but now it just directs me to Google.com

I've gone into manage search engines > get more search engines and it brings me into firefox add ons, ive done a search for either Google Ireland or UK (either will do) but it doesn't bring anything up,so is there another way i can change the Google search engine to either Ireland or UK as anytime i do a search for something i don't wanna be directed to mostly American websites, etc.

    cheers

I think, but am not certain, that you need to change the locale in firefox:

Open up about:config and find this key:

    general.useragent.locale
    Change it to en_GB

You type or copy about:config into the address bar, it will open a config page. You then find the line "general.useragent.locale" (ctrl + f is search ;)) and change it to en_GB

    Open firefox.
In the address bar type in:
    about:config
    Accept the warning (if any)
    Find the line reading:
    general.useragent.locale
Double click on it, change the entry from whatever it is to: en_GB
    Restart firefox.

Failing any of that have you changed ISP's recently? Or are you using a proxy site or something like that.

I've managed to get it sorted at last after much tinkering about cheers for that link came in useful, ive done a few searches for various different things like mens clothing, laptops, etc, etc and it apepars to be defaulting to UK which is cool either Ireland or UK is grand.

    cheers
