How to get Mango beta on LG Optimus 7

Had loads of problems with this, so here is how I did it.

Here's what you need:

You also need this installed:
32-bit
64-bit

Install that first.

Download all of these and stick them in a folder on your desktop so you don't lose them or forget any of them.

Uninstall Windows Phone Developer tools if you have them installed and then uninstall Zune. Restart your computer. Then install Zune (The new one you downloaded) and vm_web2. Then run Setup-UpdateWP (x64 for 64 bit pc's and x32 for 32bit....:rolleyes:). Go to C:\Program Files\Zune and make sure UpdateWP is not older than April 23rd. If it is, delete it and run Setup-UpdateWP again. Then check again to be sure.

Now that all of that is done, run the program in the provision file. This will take ages. When that's done, go into Zune and check for updates. You should have an option to update to 7401. Make sure you have the backup saved on a memory stick or somewhere where it won't be lost before continuing (The one made by provision.exe).
Update using Zune. Remember, you have to update twice before using your phone.

EDIT: Turns out you should use Zune 4.7 with provision.exe, not the latest one.... Feck sake... If you use 4.8 like me, it won't do a full backup. Thankfully I have two other phones to get a backup off.
