Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I actually think Clare could have been really good as she had an amazing range and had the look. One of the people that could have gained from direction and promotion. But was there any doubt that Brian was going to vote her off? A romance brewing perhaps....;)

Someone would want to tell his wife if he is.

I have to say that I think Alan is very camp, and I did think he was gay when I heard him on the first show.. He says he has a wife in this video...

Whether he's gay or straight, Alan is an amazing singer... He's a far better singer than any of the people who are sitting in judgement on him, including Brian Kennedy his "mentor".. But the Lady Gaga song was just crazy..

He did a good job on it but the higher notes were out of his vocal range. Also if the show is called "The Voice" why do they him dancing with the dance troupe.. in fact, why are there even dancers there???????

Who was voted off last night?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,641 ✭✭✭✭Elmo

Nothing against Gays, but when kids are brought into a lie, it causes problems. His wife knows none the better. If this guy is gay he needs to come clean to his wife. If he isnt gay he needs to get training on how not to act camp all the time. Usually is the case that they are gay and are afraid of facing it. Its 2012, get over it Alan.

You know that camp ≠ gay. Perhaps you should get over your stereotype. (Though I thought the same)

Also while commissioned by RTÉ the series is produced by Shinawhil. Though I agree with much of what you have said. I posted up BBC promos, but the BBC possibly put far more money into their production but then they have 10times the budget of RTÉ. (In saying that there really is no excuse for bad sound or band, though I think their set isn't bad, but why use the helix?).

This is in danger of turning into a popularity contest if it hasn't already. Public voting on these events never work IMO.

Do the judges/mentors pick the contestants songs or can the contestants pick themselves?

Will there be a tour for all contestants on the live shows like X Factor?

disappointed with this show, don't think the public are ''getting it right'' as they so often say. Waste of time.

Good Evening All. It is a nice time for me because I'm watching this on Saorview. The pictures and sound on this are immaculate.

I see Sharon remaining team are preforming an Annie Lennox track. Interesting.
