wouldn't be downloading any of these songs so far - interesting to see what Conor and Pat's songs will be.

I agree, fairly bad choices so far. I suppose they had a limited choice of songs (whichever ones they could get permission to re release.)

I think Alan did a good job but I'm not a fan really - just boring nothing special

That high note was painful for me too.......

What crap choices for Richie and Alan. Jaysus, Brian, this is meant to be their debut single and not a fecking choir song...

Tis indeed! Boring songs all round. Alan sounded great there and I have a soft spot for him but he's been desperate the last few weeks...

The contestants choose their songs though don't they?

You know what you can do with your musicality, Bressie?

I doubt they get free reign though!

Kim has had some very dodgy weeks & Vanessa has been note perfect from day one! They're right, Kim still has a long way to go!

I wouldn't say note-perfect at all. She's very boring though. Every single week it's "Here's an opera song." or "Here's a pop song... with an operatic slant." Snore-fest tbh.

I think with opera, it's either love or hate. She could do very well - look at the success of Catherine Jenkins.

I agree with Kian - I think Alan was better

I often wonder what this show could have been if Jim was on it.. He'd blame the Illuminatti and the CIA if his singer didnt win..

Wow! Shock there, didn't see Brian giving Alan more points.... Oh wait.

    55:45.

Wow. I was expecting 70:30 the way they were going on. At the very least, I havta commend Sharon for probably giving her percentages. A lot of the coaches tend to take the easy way out and go with no more than a few points different in the percentages.

True, I agree. But, even as far as opera singers go, she's not very special.

    STEADY Brian!

I'm not sure that Brian can be objective when it comes to Alan, I'd feel hard done by if I was on his team. He definitely sent better singers home :(

See I listen to classical music and sing it myself so it's not that for me. It's just her voice that doesn't knock me out.

Defo agree there. They both have great voices but I wouldn't be buying anything if theirs.

Thought Sharon's song was shocking dull too! Jaysus, they're all such *boring* songs.
