Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I currently drive a 125 scooter (twist and drive) i have been driving it for the past year on a provisional and looking to get my full license on a geared bike.

The problem is i have never driven a geared bike so i need some lessons before i do the test, doing a bit of searching on the net i found found that you can do module 2 and 4 of IBT course but for 500euro is very expensive.

Any ideas on how to get enough experience on a geared bike to have no probs in the test?

    Thanks

Assuming you have the A licence just pay for an hour or two from a motoring school.

    +1 s'easy.

If you've ever driven a geared vehicle, the principle is the same only easier cos it's sequential. Even if you havent, you'll soon pick it up within a lesson or two. If you haven't had training of any kind, prepare to feel a bit silly!!! You're about to find out that there's a lot you don't know.
