Real Digital have announced two set top boxes and left open the possibility of a CAM later.

The single tuner box is made by Fortec Star and is radically different from any previous Fortec box. The box features MHEG 5 and access to the Internet via an on-board Ethernet port.

The PVR, branded REAL+ is made by Digitalstream and also features MHEG 5 and on board Ethernet. The disk will be 500 GB. Access to recording will be available regardless of subscription unlike Sky.

There is the possibility of a CAM - probably CI+ - but this will not be available immediately and will have to satisfy Sky's security requirements for Sky Sports 1 & 2. The CAM will not be available at launch.
