Can you transfer into 3rd year of a course?

I'm due to go into 3rd year in a near identical course but I'm thinking that it might be easier for me to move to Dublin because I have family there. This would require going into 3rd year of a 4 year course, does anyone know if something like this is possible? Has anyone here done this? It's probably too late to apply anyway but I thought I might as well ask.

I am doing BSH software software, and will be going into 4th year now.The course is modified now and with comes with some options and is called BSHC.

And we had a guy who joined us last year in yr 3, so i am sure that you can join a course in yr 3.

According to my information the exemptions for first 2 yrs will be Granted by Dr Paul Hayes at http://www.ncirl.ie/Prospective_Students/Faculties-and-Departments/School-of-Computing/Staff/Paul_Hayes .

Give him an email or just ring him and see how it goes.
