Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have been googling web services specifically for photographers and man are there loads.

With so many around its hard to know which to use. Most charge a yearly fee and allow you to sell etc.

Am wondering if there is one service that is most popular. ?

Are any of you guys using any of these hosts and if so why did you choose the one you did.

    Its a minefield out there...

I mainly use deviantart, but the most popular are flickr and picasa .
There's also pix.ie which some boardsies use.
All of the above are completly free, unless you want more additions to your profile, you pay a fee.

What do you want out of your 'web service'?

Just hosting, selling prints, community, blog.....?

Just discovered 500px - it's a nice site with some very good photographers.

Have recently been looking to join one of these sites, but was wondering what would be the situation with copyrights of the photos once they are uploaded?

Thanks for the link - 500px looks very nice and clean. Will definately give it a spin. :)

After a quick google for promo codes, the code "friends" brings the pro price from $50 (€35) to $40 (€28).

Does anyone know a similar site that'd be link into a good (preferably EU based) print service for automated print sales?

Ah I see it will actually link up to foto moto.

Added 10photos and got 3 comments on one of them within a few minutes... they are related to the photo though so must have been featured somewhere for a minute.

You can click into see the newest photos somewhere on the website, it doesn't update too frequently either.
