Got an email from xbox this morning but they didn't really explain it or mention when it's out, is the Gunsmith just an add on for Ghost Recon(download). Can the Kinect just be used in the menus? Anyone tried it? Is it worth it?

It's an option. You can play the whole game with Kinect only if you want to, but it's looks terrible and in no way fun in a hard difficulty setting. Check out the E3 vids on youtube of it in action.

All Tom Clancy games will have Kinect features from now on. The gunsmith menue looks cool but it's really just a gimick that makes you look and feel like Tony Stark for 5mins. If you have less than 10ft free space in front of your TV, don't bother with Kinect.

I'd agree on the Gunsmith being a gimmick for a few minutes. On the lack of space issue, this may be just the device to help people with restricted space for playing Kinect. It's essentially a set of varifocals for Kinect, due out mid-August in the US.
