    Brings back memories growing up with british tv in WEST-Germany. I was living about 5 miles away from the main tx site in MG-Rheindalen (JHQ). At first I only got video but no sound on my german tv set due to the 6Mhz sound spacing they were using for UK tv's. But there were converters available to give me both systems.
    The transmitter had ERP 400W, was switched two years ago.:(
