I still buy DVD's and CD's 'cause it's nice to have, watch and listen to the originals. I like to be able to play them back too. I'd download music too but pay for it with itunes. Used to download music for free but since broadband providers have stamped on that I stopped so download music online now since I have i'm able to get an o2 money card. Didn't have a credit card only a laser card beforehand. So happy enough to either download my music from itunes or buy music CD's. Anything else I cannot think of.

I still buy CD's and DVD's, rather than download. I also don't own an i-pod or mp3 player.

I don't own a mobile phone, just use the landline.

These things cause people to think I live in the dark ages, but I prefer them to the alternatives.

What outdated practices do you still prefer?

I don't have an iphone. I hate the flat screen. Buttons on a mobile phone make it easier to text while driving...

I have never seen The Dark Crystal!

Just picked it for another film forum I frequent, just because it was a movie title with a girl's name in it and I use it in most forums I post on.

I must get around to eventually watching it someday...

i don't use facebook or any of it's clones, so i have to use good, old skype or icq.
i prefer to keep my computer stuff backed up locally rather than rely on clouds, etc.
don't have an iphone and in fact any other apple products.
i prefer small, simple, matte black laptops and matte screens over the glossy sh1te thats everywhere nowadays.
i don't have a credit card. i believe in cash.

I don't own a mobile phone. I have an MP3 player that I got as a present a few years ago but I only ever used it once on holiday about five years ago.

I like going for a walk and listening to the sounds of birds and animals. I love these sounds and I don't get why anyone would want to drown them out with music. I see people going for a jog in a lovely area while listening to an iPod and I think they're missing out. When I do listen to music I like to concentrate on it rather than using it as background noise.

I also like being able to go for a walk without the distraction of a mobile phone ringing every five minutes. If I want to talk to someone I can wait until I get home.

I misread that as 'unmotorised bog roll'.

I suppose it would be quite handy to have a motorised one that keeps wiping till all the sh1t is gone
