imWatch - preordering's cheaper until Monday

I just ordered one of these in Black, it's 249 Euro until Monday and preordering's a €49.98 deposit. I'm a little skeptical as to how they're going to get the two devices to communicate in the way that they say, but it'll be fantastic if they do. It's what the Nano & Lunatik should be.

Owner of the company has his own mobile network in Italy, and is an electronic engineer, so finger's crossed it's going to be legit. Seemingly shipping in October.

Last I checked these were delayed, any progress and if so any good? I fancied one myself but they're mad money and I've never seen a decent one of these types of things get off the tarmac.

Still waiting. They've some video up on their site with what looks like a prototype on a wrist (Though I'm suspicious of some video editing going on). Supposedly out in Q1 now.

So bumpety bump, this seems to be progressing. I got a mail saying my watch would be despatched in 4 weeks, and that because it was one of the first orders that there'd be a bump from 64 Megs to 128 which includes the Magnetometer and Accelerometer.

They're also release how it's working, essentially, your phone has to have a tethering plan for the apps to work, and it'll just be a device using Bluetooth to access the net and get feeds that way. The audio is done using the Bluetooth A2DP profile.
