Any old high bridges in Donegal

While touring the west coast from West Cork to Donegal about 30 years ago, my Dad and I came across what seemed then a very spectacular high bridge over an inlet of the sea. We're not sure exactly where it was as time and age have clouded both our memories, but we think it was somewhere in Donegal. Any Donegal natives have any suggestions??? I've been trawling Google maps and using Street view to try find it but to no avail.

Not the one...but nice. I haven't come across this one before. Our bridge was higher, longer and of more modern construction. I think there was steelwork involved. This looks much older...but thanks for the suggestion

Sounds like the Gweebarra bridge to me, in terms of location. A bit too old perhaps.

Not as modern as the Foyle bridge....and higher than Gweebarra...as I said it was a long time ago but we both have a memory of coming round a sweeping bend to the left, and having the water on our right and a view of the bridge ahead where the road then swung sharply to the right over it....maybe it was a kind of Irish Brigadoon moment in time...:)

Neither of the above. I've scanned every inlet of the sea along the Donegal coast today on the Ordinance Survey site and Google Earth. Maybe it doesn't exist anymore

Was it definitely on the coast?
From what you are saying I think its ramelton, sweep down the hill left coming from milford, then it goes square right across the bridge.

Not quite as spectacular as The Golden Gate Bridge but it was higher than any of the previous suggestions
