i know its too early but I'm just drawing the coming years garden diary and am trying to fine a good source for bulbs, Tuilips, Daffs, Aconite, etc.

Does anyone know of a reputable irish seller whether on line or instore...not to include Woodies and the like?

I think unwins specialise in bulbs.

    www.unwins.co.uk

Their stock is carried in some Irish garden centres. I know Jones' in Donabate do them. But don't think they sell online. Unwins themselves do though.

I used Bakker for a couple of years. While the quality of their bulbs was very good, (I had a very low failure rate), I started to get a lot of junk mail after buying from them on line.

I know that the marketing company's got my mail address from Bakker as I misspelled my address by mistake and this is the address that the junk was being sent to. So if you do order from them, look for a tick box for marketing mail, etc. I am usually very vigilant about this kind of thing, so I was concerned that they had shared their database of clients to marketing company's.

But having said all that... I plan on using them again this year. I bought bulbs locally this year and they were very poor quality.

    Thanks for the tip Marge.

Yeah I may try Bakker as it was an Irish company I was primarily look for.
