    Attached are the 2011-12 Winter League Entry Forms.
    It may seem a bit early but the closing date for entries is the 27th August,
    and between now and then there are lots of holidays.
    As someone, who in my own club, spends quite a lot of time trying to contact
    members during the holiday season,I hope this will be of some help to your
    club.

    RIFLE WINTER LEAGUES 11-12


    Dear Secretary/Club Captain
    Entries are invited for The Ulster Counties Winter League Competitions:-
    SHORT RANGE INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE:- Ten shooters per division, arranged by average.
    SHORT RANGE TEAM LEAGUE- Teams of three. Teams arranged by average.
    50 METRE INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE:- In division, arranged by average.
    SHORT RANGE BENCHREST INDIVIDUAL LEAGUE:- In division, arranged by average.
    A Junior League will be run concurrently with the short range Individual League, (subject to sufficient entries). Please ensure juniors are clearly marked on your entry form.

    ENTRY FEE 50 METRE PRONE RIFLE:- £5-00 per individual
    ENTRY FEE SHORT RANGE PRONE:- £5-00 per individual
    ENTRY FEE JUNIORS ALL LEAGUES:- Juniors under 18 On the 1st November 2011 £3-00
    ENTRY BENCHREST RIFLE:- £5-00 per individual
    TEAM LEAGUE (Short Range Prone only):- Teams of 3, six teams per division, run concurrently with the Individual League. Team members must also enter the individual league ENTRY FEE:- £6-00 per team
    PLEASE NOTE, all the competitions are shot under N.S.R.A.Rules

    GENERAL RULES:- NSRA postal rules will apply except where otherwise stated, and cards may be shot in advance without restriction. Cards received by the scorer after the due date will not be scored.

    Teams:- Teams will consist of three members, but where a team member is unable to shoot his/her card due to illness, etc., they may be substituted by a shooter of equal or lower average. Clubs may enter more than one team.

    COURSE OF FIRE (Prone Short Range):- Ten rounds with ten shots per round at 15, 20 or 25 Yards.
    Individual and Team cards will be shot concurrently.
    COURSE OF FIRE (Prone 50 metres):- Ten rounds with twenty shots per round at 50 metres.
    COURSE OF FIRE (Benchrest Short Range):- Ten rounds with twenty shots per round at 15, 20 or 25 yards.

    EXTENSIONS:- AS CARDS MAY BE SHOT IN ADVANCE WITHOUT RESTRICTION. NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED.

    TARGETS:- 1989 Series. Please tick the type of target your Club will be using on the entry form.
    Electronic or Gehmann Boxes, (providing they have been passed for postal competitions by the NSRA or your own Governing Association), may also be used.

    NOTE:- ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE CLOSING DATE OF :-
    Saturday 27th August 2011.

    POSTAL ENTRIES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY THE APPROPRIATE ENTRY FEE.
    E-MAIL ENTRY FEES SHOULD BE FORWARDED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

    CHEQUES SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE TO UC(E)SSA.
