    Hey,

I'm a newbie to triathlons and have a Giant Rapid 2, which is great getting me to/from work!

But, I'm looking to go for a decent place to buy a second hand racing bike for doing triathlons...maybe somewhere that would even take my bike as a trade in.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

I live in Dublin, but can travel to nearby counties for the right place/price!!

    Cheers,

    Eoin

Try adverts.ie or look at the adverts section of the cycling forum

    Thanks Kenny B!

El Director, that's a nice rothar. I was looking not to spend more than €1k...and I'm also 6'3 and have a long body, so need a L-XL bike!

    Cheers for the help.

Is it a sensible choice to think about buying a second hand tri bike, or is it just too risky, for reasons of possiblr damaged to frame, bearing worn etc.

It's possibly a more sensible choice to ask this question on the tri forum, where the folks are far more knowledgeable on the subject. Tri-forum this-away.
