Began this worthy journey, through stiles us thousands fled.
In streams through battered grass we stroll and watered on the head.
Greeting smiles with OMG's, I just cannot believe my eyes.
The swarm of coloured butterflies, all cheering delightful cries.

When first was turned a corner, in vision tall dark wood.
Gently caressed right earlobe and marooned a salty dog.
She sat there old and leaning sad but lacking grieve.
Playing home to grand old master called he Seasick Steve.

Wander down set golden paths, longing where musicians thrive.
Distance slows where crossroads meet, silent oak and ash alive.
Granted stile another coming, neither foot recall thread metric.
reach skyward wide giants tall, calleth this Picnic Electric.

My fav part of any festival is the camping after the gigs always such craic on the campsites, I rarely make it to the gigs the nxt day due to all the partying.

The first festival I ever went to was Feile at Semple Statium in Thurles. I didn't even get in to see any of the bands I was having such a great time in the camp site. I found a broken bale of briquettes in the town and carried them back to the campsite and lit a fire. After a nap of some hours I woke to find lots of people around my campfire and they had added fuel of their own and we carried on into the night having a rare old time

oxegen was my first music festival in Ireland.. i had been to one in Germany where my phone ran out of batteries. I'll deffo need this prize to ensure this doesn't happen again!!
