paying tax after living in ireland for 10 years

    I became a US citizen after living there for 6 years, I came home in 1999, I have'nt paid any US tax siince I came home. I would like to look into sorting this out but I dont know if I have to fele for the full time I was here. I think I read somewhere that I would only have to go back 5 years.... I did my own tax returns there every year so could do it myself if only I knew where to start !!! :confused:
