Anything exciting going on in Cork City this Sunday?

I'm thinking of heading down for the night as I'll be in Tipp for a wedding on the Saturday. Also, anyone recommend a reasonable, centrally located hotel?

Not sure whats on this weekend (have a look at www.whazon.com) but in terms of hotels the Clarion, Imperial (most central) and metropole are all fine. Maldron hotels are usually fine too (its a 5 min uphill walk) and the river lee hotel (Jurys to you and me) is a ten min walk also at max.
