Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, was wondering if anbody out there knows where I might get replacement cab panels for a ferguson 165.
The tractor has an original ferguson cab and all the glass is perfect, it's the steel frames around the glass thats rusted and rotten.
Any help or ideas would be great.

Lots of people repairing vintage machines. There are a few cabs for sale on donedeal you could ring them up and get the parts from them / get them to restore it.

Is it one of those flexi-Cabs?? Do you have a picture of it or can you link us to a similar picture online?

thanks for the ideas. Sorry dont know how to post pictures. tried donedeal, all I found were nearly worse than my own!!!
my tractors have the rigid steel cabs, all the glass is intact and in good condition.
cannot find anywhere or anybody who deals in the replacement metal frames for the glass. qtp dont anyway.
c&g make full cabs but one of them is dearer than the tractors are worth and they dont have the same shape as the original.
does anybody know of a metal fabricator that might be interested????

I understood that Massey Ferguson didn't supply cabs (other than flexi cabs http://vintagemasseyferguson.co.uk/the-collection/massey-ferguson-165/) on the MF 165. They were instead fitted by companies like sekura http://www.farmingmachines.co.uk/machinery/M10001 or Duncan http://tractors.wikia.com/wiki/Duncan_Cabs or a range of other manufacturers.

Are any of these what you have?

the frames on my tractors are the same as the frame for the flexi cabs. the panels are solid and are stamped as massey ferguson. not duncan or sekura. cab the same as on http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/tractors/2299915
