I'm talking about a lot of mk fans i see on yt posting stupid comments that have no relevance to actually gameplay. I thought I made that clear....

Sorry about the few updates on RS.ie for the last week. There have been unforseen difficulties (and Gears 3 being released the same day the updates stopped is purely a coincidence, I assure you), but spammage of your twitter feeds shall resume in the morning!

Honestly, the constantly updated news route didn't seem hugely sustainable anyway.

For other content though, it'd be great if people really started doing write ups for events. There's at minimum one event a week now and I for one would love a short blurb recapping the ones I missed out on with a list of the top placers and top three games.

There's plenty of other content that could be made, but the various tournaments are the heart of RandomSelect.ie. Seeing some more people spend an hour writing a brief rundown of the tournament ladder and anything else that happened on the day would be lovely.
It doesn't even need to be formatted fancilly or have any match videos included. PM any articles you want posted to me or submit them through the Player Post portion of the site and I'll clean them up before posting them to the front page.

I still have it at the back of my mind to do up the most recent Inferno and the Dragonslayers ranbats, but I've always had a job, and it's just been a lot busier recently.

As a general rule I don't have any issues with doing a write-up of events I'm able to attend, and will always do my best to get around to them. My only limitation here is Geography. I probably always WILL attend Dublin events, and probably always WILL NOT attend events further afield. So you generally won't be seeing any Glacial, Tempest, Rupture or QUB write-ups from me.

I can't commit to the kind of excellent cutting-edge-internet-journalism Sairus has been doing though. So if he doesn't have time for that anymore either, some newshound volunteers would be great.
