Travel Insurance question

    Hi,

    Due to go away to Portugal on Sunday week, but looking increasingly unlikely due to my girlfriend being diagnosed with a pretty serious issue relating to a disc in her back. :(

    Have booked via credit card, and have travel insurance but have no idea 1) if this would be covered and 2 ) how to claim if it is.

    Any info much appreciated.

    If she can't travel due to illness then yes it will be covered. You will need to get a letter from the doctor saying she was unfit to travel. Cancel the trip and see what refunds you get.

    Then submit claim for rest to the relevant insurance company. They will look for doctors letter and booking details, emails, etc.
