Don't know about this update but when I last tried to put my profile on my USB key it said it wasn't compatible.

Format the stick on a PC to FAT32. Then plug it into the Xbox, go to Storage, highlight the stick, press Y, and configure it. It'll be usable after that.

Yeah you just need to format/dedicate the stick towards only holding your Xbox data.

It's very fast, but most links aren't too difficult. Plays beautifully.

Mostly played Demitri and Morrigan so far, and looking at J. Talbain, Felicia, Hsien-Ko and possibly Bishamon. Rikuo looks kinda interesting as well.

Like Gory said Vampire Savior is really the more played one, but both have tournies at the yearly DS Combination Cup. http://www.vampire-dcc.com/result/index.shtml

Unfortunately it's just not a very played game in arcades, with 1 or 2 machines if your lucky in some of the more popular places. Mikado, which is well known for having loads of machines for old fighting games, has it on only 2 linked machines, but tends to host tournies for it sometimes. Can be great to attend!

As for the newest PS3 version, really enjoying the special tutorials they have for each character, I've only ever really played as Lillith or Morrigan, but sitting down with the tutorials, breaking down each character, is really good.

Also highly recommend http://wiki.mizuumi.net/w/Vampire_Savior for more in depth guides to each character. It covers a lot for each character including hit boxes!

Tried out Youtube sharing last night. Goes straight to whichever account you authorise, which is awesome. Even Xbox players can do it this time, unlike 3rd Strike. Quality's decent, about what you'd expect. It doesn't include gamertags in the video though, so there's no way to tell who's who.

And the one replay that I did upload was cut short at the end, which was a bit annoying. Gonna try again and see if the same thing happens.

Found the problem. The uploader seems to cut every video at 2:14. So basically, if it's longer than two minutes and fourteen seconds - which is more than likely - you won't get the match result in the video.

Which sort of defeats the entire purpose.

That's not taking into account the character select screen and the intro, and the fact that good matches last, especially given that it's a defensive game and health recovery is a huge factor.

It doesn't matter if you only miss the end by a handful if seconds; cutting out the climax is a cop-out, and there's no reason for the limitation since the videos go to individual channels.

Don't think time limit has anything to do with it. I got uploads that barely last a minute and are still cut off at the end with the audio out of sync

DSR update is being released on Friday. On top of bug fixes, they're adding Fight Request to Arcade and Training modes.

Capcom Has No Immediate Plans for Darkstalkers Franchise

While Comic-Con has typically been the place for Capcom to offer some sort of hint about the future of the Darkstalkers series, talks during this year’s event offered a more somber look forward. ”Darkstalkers Resurrection did not perform as well as we would have liked to perform,” Capcom’s Matt Dahlgren relayed while speaking with Siliconera. “You never know what the future may hold, but Street Fighter is definitely not dead.”

This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, as former Senior Vice-President Christian Svensson previously expressed disappointment at their misunderstanding of the demand for a return to the series and Darkstalkers Resurrection’s low sales numbers, the latter of which was said to tie heavily into their plans for developing a brand new title.

Upon further questioning, Dahlgren had this to say: “There is nothing Darkstalkers on the immediate horizon for sure.”
