Having just checked the leading teams in our league, I must say I am disappointed that all the top teams have Van Persie up front! What happened to the no gooners rule? Shame on all of you

lol its a shameful act but captaining RVP for the last 6/7 weeks has shot me right up my leagues! In at joint 3rd in the spurs league at the minute

This rule was not followed last season, in the end all the leading teams had the want away gooner. I personally went the whole season without any gooners and believe its the way it should be as who would want a gooner anyway.

I followed the rule as well I'll have you know! As far as I can remember anyways, defo didn't have RvP, which did f*ck me up big time.

.. it will make things very interesting.

We understand that footballis as much a game of tactics as it is scoring goals and making assists, so ontop of the classic Scoring System we’ve introduced 2 new Bonus fieldsto reward the most tactical of players. From this season if any of your playerssuccessfully make 60 or more passes in a match we will award you with an extra2 Bonuspoints and the same amount of Bonuspoints are awarded if any player makes 4 or more successful tackles during thecourse of a game. Click here to see howyou earn points and Bonuspoints for your team.

This is interesting! In years gone by midfielders who put in a massive shift (like parker last year) were a FF no-go as they could play unbelievably and receive nada as they didn't score or assist. I'm surprised I haven't seen this new rule being discussed over on the fantasy sports forum!
