Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I got from a friend a QUAD to replace my existing Twin LNB to extend to 3 or 4 freeview boxes, he give me as you can see in the picture attached a Quad LNB, what I noticed when I got it is that it has 4 connections but they are label as High H, Low H, High V and Low V. Could I use it to replace my existing lnb to connect to 3/4 decoders? Can I just unplug the cables from the existing and connect to the new LNB?

My setup is a standard (NOT HD) decoder, motorize dish and Twin LNB. From the LNB 1 cable goes to the motor and from there to my decoder, the 2nd cable from the LNB goes directly to my 2nd decoder.

    Thanks in advance

It's not a Quad it's a quattro LNB i.e. it splits the incoming satellite signal into its 4 sub bands to feed a multiswitch. Not suitable for a direct feed to a satellite receiver.

That's for a standard Sky dish, not sure if it's suitable for a non Sky dish (not sure what type you have).

This will be suitable for for a standard non-Sky dish - http://www.tvtrade.ie/universal-quad-lnb.html

Not sure where you're based but I got a quad LNB from Electrical Factors in Limerick for €17
