Hi does anyone know anything about investment mortgages ....we have one on a second house that we have letted out at the moment.. we had it on a tracker from a second bank as a personal mortgage but a idiot of a broker when moving our mortgages informed the bank that it indeed was a investment mortgage and our interest…

Hi does anyone know anything about investment mortgages ....we have one on a second house that we have letted out at the moment.. we had it on a tracker from a second bank as a personal mortgage but a idiot of a broker when moving our mortgages informed the bank that it indeed was a investment mortgage and our interest rates have gone through the roof.We are comfortable covering our own house but the amount we have to subsidise the rental one is killing us even though we have it on interest only.Is there any way we could work with the bank on this one have they ever compromised on a investment mortgage to make the rates more reasonable.
