Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does switching to Sky Plus count as changing my subscription?

Hi all, just looking for an opinion on this scenario.

Long story short, I have basic $ky i.e. no HD, no +, no multiroom. I've inherited a Plus box (not a HD one) that I want to replace my bog standard box with and get the Plus features enabled. However, I phoned up $ky a couple of weeks ago about cancelling, they made me an offer so my bill is halved for six months. However, the guy specifically said I could not change my subscription while the offer was in force or it would be nullified. By this he seemed to be mainly saying that I couldn't add or drop channels.

So I'm wondering, would ringing them up and asking them to marry my card to a new box and enable Plus features count as changing my subscription or should I just wait until the six months is up and get it done then?

Simple answer is No it won't affect the deal they gave you, just ring 'em and pair the card to the box.You only change your terms of contract if you upgrade to the HD pack as this ties you into another 12 month contract.

By the way it's spelled Sky,you seem to have a problem with your keyboard.:)
