    1st thing I thought on was a nice fillet steak, a few mushrooms and a pepper sauce mmmmmmmm

    Dressed green salad and meat of choice, simply BBQd or fried to your liking and a nice red wine!
    Simple.

    I usually go for some 'meaty meat' too - the gratin needs something to stand up to it.
