How is it that she dies, but Mick Jagger and the rest of the Rolling Stones are still breathing?

Because keef is someone who cannot be killed by conventional means.

    Rip

I know it's tragic that somebody talented has died bit I've more sympathy for the innocent victims in Norway, they'll be pushed off the front pages by someone who was determined to fuck their life up and ended up dead.
The editors of the tabloids will be rubbing their hands together with this story.

    Amazing talent

27, same age as Janis Joplin

And Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain...the list is pretty long of talented music people who died too young.

    RIP.

By the sound of it Blake Fielder Civil is going to be shouldering the blame, as well he might by the sounds of it.

This was only a matter of time, unfortunately. I imagine the disasterous concert from last month brought her down even further.

She had a constant battle with drugs which the media thought was all a big joke, she became a comic figure for people on drugs.

Now watch those same papers call her a princess.

Sky News just said that, funnily enough.

She was a junkie, plain and simple.

Such a waste. She could have had a really good life for herself if only she had stayed away from the drugs and the scumbags.

From one of the pics on the Daily Mail site
Daddy's girl: Amy was very close to her father Mitch, who is believed not to know about his daughter's death

You'd think they'd hold off until they are certain that her family have been informed.

Meh big deal, it's nothing new and I doubt she will be as remembered as Janis Joplin who also died of a over dose and who was younger.
I don't know about that, her being dead is fairly new.

It was only a matter of time really.

Death tends to work that way.

She fueled an illegal drug trade that murders dozens each year. Maybe that's why some people have no sympathy
The only shock here is that it was one of the toxic celebs who died (The Winehouse/Fielder/Dohertry Triumvirate of Scum ) and not some poor spa who got sucked into their bull****.

    Great voice, **** life choices.

The words I have for you people would get me banned.

Her management team didn't hand the crack pipe to her.

    I dunno what to think.

    It's madness. 2009, 2010, 2011 - years of the celebra-death!
Deaths come in threes. First jackass guy, now Amy Winehouse. Whos next!

    Madness!!!

I think all the comments Im seeing on Facebook/Twitter are well out of line.
"Drug this" "Drug that" "Message to young people"
No one has any regard for relations or friends reading them.
    She was a person too.

    RIP Amy

Her father knows, and is on his way back from New York.

    Sky said this earlier.

Sad to see such a young life ended but given her lifestyle it's not that surprising.

    Awful for her family though.
