Thinking of moving back to Eircom, can i use my vodafone modem/router with Eircom?

I like the fact i can have 2 network hard drives connected to my home network via the Vodafone modem.

Yes it should be fine. You'll just need to login to the Vodafone modem/router and change the PPPoE username/password (somewhere in the WAN/Internet settings depending on the device) to eircom/broadband1

You should only need to change the username and password.

If it's any help, the reverse worked for me, I was waiting for my BT (now Vodafone) modem and before it arrived I hooked up the Eircom Netopia router and it worked fine.

Thanks guys, so it all sounds fairly easy. I'll get onto Eircom now and see what they can offer me
