Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right bought a Honda Varadero 125. Seen as I'm on a provisional I can't use the motorways.

If I were to drive the bike home it would mean going through London city. I'm not ready for that yet on a bike.

    I could rent a van?

If you can get it in the back safely.

Then strap the ****e out of it. I've used blankets all over it just incase it fell over.

There's plenty of bike delivery companies in the UK that deliver nationwide very cheaply, probably cheaper than you can rent a van for, and they'll have ramps straps etc.

If you're on a provisional you cannot ride abroad. I live in Donegal and can't ride in NI.

You can't drive it through London or anywhere outside the RoI as you've no licence.

As Pique said a learners permit is only valid here, the UK cops will take the bike off you at the side of the road, you're going to have to get it delivered or pay someone to ride it back.

    Well that was fun.

Essex to Windsor through the center of london.

Hot and sweaty but a good learning experience. Only 1 person beeped at me. :)
