Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I posted this on the film thread but think I should also put it here

The Class WED RTE 2 11:50Pm. French film but pretty relevant for Ireland too- I think. Very accurate depiction on what it is like to be a teacher today in any country. If as a teacher you want others to know what its really like (the job) then tape this and insist they watch it!

Its actually a very good flick.

Might make people think that its not actually the cushy number that many proclaim it to be.

Another great film about teaching is also a French title called "Être et Avoir" ("To Be and To Have"). It follows a teacher and his small class in rural France. Very inspiring and well worth a look!
