Very difficult to get an inch of space in Galway City this week I would imagine. If you are heading out to Connemara area there is a few lovely sites. Lettergesh Renvyle in Leenaune is beautiful.Just beside the beach with beautiful mountainous views all around you. Also a nice site in Renvyle Penninsula in Connemara.Enormous, clean beach. Enjoy the West coast , you cant go wrong no matter where you stop. :)

There's two or three sites in Salthill,
Bayview Caravan & Camping Park, SalthillCaravanPark and I think they have a sister site across the road. Stayed in Bayview and Salthill, both pleasant enough with shops and things to do close by.

There are a number of serviced bays on the docks for campervans. Only pay around 3 Euros from 6pm until around 8.30 the following morning. Electrical points available and you can get card for same from harbour masters office (closes 5.30ish). They are supposed to be available from some hotels and pubs but not sure if that is operating now. Great facility and only a few minutes walk from main street pubs and restaurants. Have stayed there and it was quite safe.

    Booked into Salthill.

Thanks for all the info - it really had to be a caravan site as I have a caravan, not a camper.
