    Hi all,

We found a house that we liked.. on first notice we wanted to rent it. so we paid a deposit of 900 euro, we did not sign a contract yet. She gave us a key in advance, were supposed to sign the contract sunday.

When we further inspected the house we noticed a lot of things were either not working or not connected. Things inside were not clean, kitchen closets. oven.. toilet.

All there things we noticed afterwards :( since the vieuwing itself happened in a hurry.

We now actually dont want to rent it anymore.. Is there anyhting we can do? Can we still get our deposit back?

    Thanks for the replies!

I would think if you havent signed a contract yes you can find somewhere else but its up to the landlord or agent on weather you can get the deposit back.Maybe ask for the items to be repaired if your going to stay.

    Talk to them asap.
There is no reason why you shouldn't get your deposit back, as you haven't signed contracts etc as yet.
You need to talk them asap though.......
